Welcome to Lettie Bea.

My name is Michelle, and I opened Lettie Bea in November 2020. I'm so glad you found us! Owning my own Boutique had been a dream of mine for about 10 years, and I finally made it a Reality!

My family and I moved to New Jersey at the beginning of the pandemic, and I knew absolutely no one here, and with NJ on lockdown, and I was stuck at home. I ended up becoming a Stay-at-Home Mom and "Kindergarten teacher," but I felt like something was missing. That's when I 100% knew I was ready to begin this journey.

The Name Lettie Bea is derived from my two beautiful daughters, Beatrice (Bea) and Juliette (Lettie). The Boutique is my 3rd baby, so naturally, I named it after my daughters. I have to give my husband a bit of credit for this. He actually said it first, and I fell in love with it. My 5yr old absolutely loves that her mommy has a boutique and her name is in it! She even helps her mommy look for new clothing.

I knew I didn't want a boutique full of fast fashion items. So here at Lettie Bea, you will find quality items that will last more than one season and at the same time being fashionable and on-trend. Being a mom of two girls, I like comfortable but cute clothes and accessories as I love the ability to dress an outfit up or down.

While growing up in a small town in Michigan, I didn't have many unique places to shop, unless you wanted a dirndl! So I was always a sweatshirt and jeans kind of girl. In my 20's I found it hard to find unique pieces, and I have never been a fan of everyone having the same shirt or shoes. That's when I discovered and fell in love with boutique shopping!

I am known for wearing funky, unique pieces in my circle, whether it's glasses, shoes, or shirts. At Lettie Bea, I want to help you find your unique voice, so I typically will not restock or over-stock one item. I work really hard to have specially curated collections and to regularly bring in new pieces.

Currently, I'm the only employee unless you count my husband, Jeff!
